Location

Toulouse is the 4th city of France and the capital of the Haut Garonne (31) department in the renowned Midi-Pyrénées region. The city with a population of 1.1 million is the fifth largest metropolitan area in France, the fastest growing in Europe.

Referred to as the Ville Rose (Pink City) for its distinctive brick architecture, Toulouse is host to a rich and diverse culture particularly music & entertainment and also has a very strong sporting focus, in particular rugby.

The city is very important economically and is the third most important city in France behind Paris & Lyon. Indeed, the US based ‘Newsweek’ magazine ranked Toulouse the third most dynamic city in the world in 2006.
